We welcome you to camp at the ranch for the weekend. If you prefer to stay at a hotel or Airbnb, we have provided some options below.

Our favorite nearby coastal towns include Cayucos, Morro Bay, and Cambria.
For an inland wine-country stay, consider Paso Robles.

Paso Robles offers the closest and most convenient lodging, while Morro Bay, Cayucos, and Cambria provide coastal options for guests looking to explore all the central coast has to offer.

Camping

Rainbow Creek Ranch

Guests are welcome to camp at Rainbow Creek for the weekend. Arrive anytime on Friday, settle in, set up camp, and enjoy exploring the property or lending a hand.

If you’d like to stay on site, bring everything you’ll need for a comfortable setup—tent, sleeping gear, warm layers for the evening, and any personal camping supplies.

There is plenty of space to spread out and camp along the property. Campers will have access to a shared bathroom, outdoor shower, and the wood-fired sauna. A small creek runs through the property, and mornings tend to be peaceful and quiet.

This will be a relaxed, rustic camping experience. There are no hookups or formal campsites, so please come prepared and plan to pack in and pack out your gear.

Getting there

If you’re traveling from out of town, we’re so grateful you’re making the journey — it truly means the world to us.

Rainbow Creek Ranch is nestled between Highway 101 and Highway 1 — which has recently reopened — offering beautiful and scenic access from either route.

Flying

Fly into SBP (San Luis Obispo County Airport), which is about 40 minutes from the ranch and easy to navigate.

If you have extra time and want to enjoy a scenic drive along the coast, you might also consider flying into SJC (San Jose International Airport), SFO (San Francisco International Airport) or LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) and making a road trip out of it.

Getting around

We recommend renting a car for getting around during the weekend.

In addition to traditional rental agencies, Turo can be a great option — often more affordable and a nice way to support local car owners in the area.

Please note that we will not be providing a shuttle service. Guests should plan to drive, carpool, or arrange their own transportation.
